It's the only thing to use for extreme lightening effects on v dark hair.

Invest in a bleaching kit and follow the instructions on the pack. Because your hair's dark, you may need to bleach the hair up and wash it out when the product has lightened to its full capacity, then repeat this step several times. Be warned, your hair will go thru some funny colors before it lightens up ranging from Red, Orange, Copper/Gold, Pineapple yellow! ...but once it reaches a pale lemony stage, you need to wash the bleach right out, and tone the hair.

Most bleaching kits include a toner. If it doesnt, grab a Light violet blonde haircolor and apply throughout your hair. It will counteract the yellow and turn the hair white, whilst maintaining the condition of your hair.
