Best way to grow hair out? Black/White/Italian 19 years old male.?

I am pretty much 70% Black, 10% Italian, and 20% white, I have a good grade of hair, curly but low cut, I want to grow a pony tail as long as I can. what is the best way to grow my kind of hair out?

Get plenty of sleep, and keep your hair conditioned to prevent breakage. Hair grows more quickly when you're sleeping than when you're awake.

Some people will no doubt tell you things like "hair grows faster if you get a half inch trimmed off the end every few months". Those people are talking out of their asses, since they clearly don't know that hair grows from the ROOT, not the end.

There is no way to grow hair longer or quicker. If you can find a way, you'd make a killing with folks who are looking for ways to cure their baldness.

I have been in the industry for 10 yrs and I would tell you to take gellitan supplements and use a shampoo and conditioner system called Nioxin. Lots of cancer patients use it to regrow hair. All it really does is keep your scalp in optimal condition to grow your hair. Hope this helps!
